Samuel Veksler (born in 1966 in Vitebs in Belarus) Samuel Veksler studied at the Belarusian Institute of Fine Arts in Vitebsk, a school Marc Chagall once inspired and directed. Then he moved to St. Petersburg. He is therefore a follower of the famous painters of the "School of Vitebsk", of which Marc Chagall is of course the most famous representative, but which also includes artists such as Altman, Yavlinski and Puni. His postmodern paintings with cubist influences are highly regarded at art auctions and galleries. He is considered a rising star. His paintings can be traced back to three subjects: the jazz band in Paris; the attraction between a man and a woman in a cubist style and music groups in their own postmodern style.
